JASON – Norwegian Comics Superstar

Live and direct – on a limited tour of the states – the very talented, very modest cartoonist Jason will be making an appearance here. Best known for his minimalist and cartoony style, his work often packs an unexpected emotional punch. While being versatile, his clean and pared-down line work is deceptively simple; allowing for slapstick comedy, drama or (often) wordless narrative.

Please come down to visit! The event is free, of course. Jason has been our guest before, and we can attest that he is a sweet and generous soul. We hope to see you here!

The event will start at 1:00pm! We think that it will be held at the Plenty banquet room, which is across the street from us. After a presentation, Jason will move to the shop for signing and fun!

Ted Rall visiting October 17th

Ted Rall will be visiting the Danger Room on Sunday, October 17th. Rall is an acerbic political cartoonist and writer whose newest books are Generalisimo El Busho: Essays & Cartoons on the Bush Years and Wake Up, You're Liberal!.

2:00 pm Rall will be interviewed and take questions and answers from the audience in the banquet room at Plenty (corner of 4th & Columbia, across the street from Danger Room).

3:30 – 5:00 pm Rall will be signing and sketching at Danger Room Comics
